You can earn £1 for every .uk and £2 for every international domain
We'll provide you a section of html code for a banner that you simply insert into your site, and we then track any users who come through your site.
To get started just complete the following form, copy the code you are presented with into your website(s), and you'll start earning revenue immediately! Please refer to the terms of the scheme (at the bottom of this page) before you complete the form - so you know exactly how it all works.
- Can I put the banner on more than one site?
- Yes. If you use the same code on each page or site you want the banner on, all banners will provide commission to the same referrer account. In other words, if you signup for one referrer account, and then put your banner on three different pages or sites, you will receive payment to the one referrer account for domains registered through any of those sites.
- Can I sign up for more than one referrer account in the same name
- We would request that you don't do this, as this will increase load on our system, and is of no real benefit to you. If you want to use a banner on more than one site, you can use the same referrer account for both banners (see above). If you want to sign up using different contact details, this is fine, provided the contact details are valid for you.
- In what circumstances will I receive payment for the use of my banner, and for what orders?
- Provided the following points are met, you will receive payment for any domains registered:
- The customer must use a banner with your referrer ID in it (i.e. the code you are supplied with when you sign up).
- The customer must not have previously visited our site, either directly or through another referrer banner, in the same browser session (i.e. since last opening their browser program).
- The customer must successfully complete an order and submit this to us.
- The order must be successfully processed and payment received by us from the customer.
Provided the above requirements are met, you will receive a commission of £1 for each .uk domain, and £2 for each international domain registered by the customer (for the purposes of this system, .uk.com, .uk.net and .eu.com domains are treated as International domains). There is currently no reward for domain transfers made by customers - only new registrations carry a commission.
If a customer visits our site through your referrer banner, leaves our site, and then returns later to place an order, you will still receive payment for the order, provided they return within the same browser session (i.e. without closing their browser). You will still receive payment even if they return to the site via another referrer's banner - provided your banner was the one used for the initial visit to our site (in that browser session), you will be the one who receives payment.
If a customer places an order, and follows it up with another order within the same browser session (i.e. without first closing and re-opening their browser), you will also receive payment for any domains registered in the additional order(s).
- I'm not completely sure of the above. Can you explain it in a more concise way?

Having opened their browser, provided the first visit a customer makes to our site is through your banner, you will receive a commission on all orders placed up until the moment they close their browser.
- Are there any specific exceptions to the above?

There are no exceptions as such. However, you should remember that the customer is identified using a cookie. This cookie is the same as we would assign if the customer visited our site directly, but is associated with your referrer ID on our servers. This cookie has no expiry time, but will normally be deleted by the browser when it is closed. This means that we can only associate the customer with your ID until their cookie is deleted from their browser.
The down side to this is that if a customer clears their cache during a session, this may delete the cookie. As far as tracking them is concerned, this is the same as closing and opening their browser, and is treated as this as far as the above requirements go.
The upside to the cookie system is that some browsers don't delete the cookie when they are closed. This means that even if the customer closes and re-opens their browser, provided they still have the same cookie stored, you will still receive commissions for domains. The only restriction on this is that data files on our servers are normally removed if not used for 2 days. If this happens, a new cookie is assigned to the customer when they return to the site.
- Do you place any restrictions on where I can put the banner
We do restrict positioning of the banner such that it cannot be placed in any location which (in our judgement) could associate us with any obscene, threatening, menacing, offensive, defamatory or illegal content or images. We reserve the right to refuse payment for referrals through banners positioned in these locations. If you are unsure of whether your site would not be allowed, please contact us and let us know the address to your site, and we will be happy to confirm one way or the other.
We also restrict the banner so that when our site is displayed (when people use the banner), our page must be full-screen. In other words, it cannot be loaded into a frame of another site. This is simply to prevent any confusion which may occur due to a customer thinking that there is some sort of association or endorsement between our site and the other frames. The code we provide should make sure the banner opens full-screen. If a banner is found which does not open our site full screen, we will normally pay the referrer for any amounts due, but request that they change the banner to open full-screen (and we would, of course, assist with this if required).
- I'm supplying you with all of this personal contact information. Won't you just start sending me junk e-mail or junk postal mail?
Absolutely not. We are firmly against unsolicited commercial email and unsolicited bulk email in any form. Your contact information will be used for nothing other than to inform you of the sataus of your account (in the case of your email address) and to post a cheque to you (in the case of postal mail).
We may email you from time to time, to request changes to the banner on your site, or if we need to check anything with you or let you know of any changes which may affect you. However, we will never try to sell you anything in these correspondances. They will be for information purposes only, and to keep you up to date with the referrer system, changes to reward payments for each domain, etc.
If you believe that you have received spam from us at any time, please contact us and we will look into the issue immediately.

If you would like to sign up for the scheme, please fill out the following form. You can place the code for the banner on your website as soon as the form is completed.
Terms of the Refer & Reward Scheme
- All comission payments include vat. Payments are made in Sterling by cheque drawn on a UK bank and paid at on the 1st of the month. E.g. if you start on the 20th June you should expect your first cheque just after the 1st July. Minimum payment made will be 20 - any commisions less than this which are due on 1st of a month will be rolled over to the following month, until such time that the minimum payout balance has been achieved.
- All search banners must be displayed as provided and must not be adjusted in any way as this may invalidate your participation in the scheme. Modification of the banner may also adversley affect the embedded referral code, and may prevent us from correctly associating an order with your referrer ID.
- Payments are made for all domain purchases made during the same session as the referral from a participant's website, and for successfully registered and confirmed domains only. No payments can be made for unsuccessful registrations and/or those that have not been fully paid for, irrespective of the reason for the faliure.
- Payments are made only on receipt of a valid invoice for the required amount. This amount can be found from the history information in your referrer control panel. Please invoice to the address on our Website.
- We cannot be held responsible for the behaviour of a referred user's browser, and the effect this may have on tracking your referrer information for the purposes of payment. While we have made efforts to ensure our system functions with popular browsers, whether the information is passed to our server is dependent on the configuration of the referred user's browser. We can only provide payment if this information is passed to our servers.
- We reserve the right to refuse payment for any reason. If requested, we will always provide the reason for refusal. Reasons include, but are not limited to, at our sole discretion, perceived association of our material or products with any other material which is in violation of any law or regulation, which is obscene, threatening, menacing, offensive, defamatory, in breach of confidence, in breach of any intellectual property (including any trade mark or Copyright) or modification of supplied code.
- We hold copyright on any original or modified HTML code and graphics supplied to you. We reserve the right to request the removal of any reference to our services from your site(s), and this should be done in a timely manner.
