Mail Forwarding

This is a re-direction facility which allows you to specify where the email for your domain name goes.

For instance if you have an email account with your ISP in the form of yourname@anISP.co.uk (or something like that) you could have email for: anything@yourdomain.co.uk go to yourname@anISP.co.uk

You would then continue to use your existing mailbox to send and receive email from/to your domain. This means you can have unlimited email addresses such as info@yourdomain.co.uk, or sales@yourdomain.co.uk, or john@yourdomain.co.uk, etc...

The burning question you are now asking yourself....but won't that mean that people will see yourname@anISP.co.uk as my email address when I send out mail?

No. So long as you set your 'email' and 'reply to' address as something@yourdomain.co.uk in the account properties of your email program such as Eudora or Outlook Express then this is what people will see as being your email address.

Web Forwarding

Similar facility to mail forwarding in that it allows you to advertise your website address as www.yourdomain.co.uk but have it redirect to your existing website and possibly free webspace with your existing ISP.

For instance your site might be at www.afreeISP.co.uk/members/index.html but if you register a domain with us, all people will need to remember is the more memorable form of www.yourdomain.co.uk. If they then type in www.youdomain.co.uk in their browser it will take them to your existing website.

You also have the option of URL masking, which will hide the real URL of the site, and give the impression that your site is hosted on your new domain.

7-day Trial of URL Masking

As part of standard domain registration, you can enable a free 7-day trial of our URL masking. This can be turned on at any time, and will allow you to see how our URL masking functions, and also make sure your website works with masking enabled. Once your domain is registered, you can enable the trial URL masking in your control panel.

Domain Transfer to any ISP

We offer hosting through our sister company Pay As You Host, but if you host elsewhere its important for you to know that you can move your domain to another ISP if needs be. There is no charge to transfer away and you can do so as soon as the domain has been registered for 60 days (this is enforced by our registrar).

Our registration prices include all fees charged by the appropriate registrar (Nominet, OpenSRS or CentralNic) for the length of registration. If you register a domain through us, you will not be charged anything other than the price quoted on our site.

Free Hit stats/logs
